In this special Mother’s Day episode of Lykken on Lending, we have Jason Frazier and his mother, Marilyn Richardson of Mason-McDuffie Mortgage, a TOP 100 Mortgage Company of America!
Jason Frazier specializes in Real Estate & Mortgage Marketing, Social Media, Technology, and Branding for the modern consumer.
Ms. Richardson is the President and CEO for Mason-McDuffie Mortgage Corporation and a member of the Board of Directors. She is responsible for the operations of the Company, including the Finance, Capital Markets, Administration and Operation departments (underwriting, compliance, closing and post closing).
She is an experienced mortgage professional with over forty-five years in mortgage banking positions. She successfully directed mortgage operations for several Mortgage Companies, including Finance/Accounting, Administration, Production, Servicing, Marketing, Quality Control and Training.
Former management positions held by Ms. Richardson include:
From February 1993 to May 2005, Operations Manager for RBC Mortgage (Alamo, CA), Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Zino Mortgage Group, (Concord, CA), Regional Operations Manager for Countrywide Home Loans (Concord, CA), Operations Manager for Union Security Mortgage (Concord, CA) and Operations Manager for ITT Financial (Pleasant Hill, CA).
In 1979 Ms. Richardson became the first female partner of Mason-McDuffie Financial (Berkeley, CA), where she had served as an operational manager in its mortgage division since 1972. After the partnership liquidated its assets in 1982, she was one of the founders of Mason-McDuffie Corporation (Walnut Creek, CA). She served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer until the company sold to Weyerhaeuser Mortgage in 1984. She became a Senior Vice President of Weyerhaeuser Mortgage upon the sale, managing the operations of the combined branch network of 37 offices in 16 states.
Ms. Richardson was a Director on the CMBA Board from July 2009 – June 2010.
