6.26.23 The Markets Prepare for “The Launch”
———————–
Get Ready for Shocks
Hints of stimulus in China caused Oil producing states to cut production and prepare for a global slump. As a result, the 10 yr yield slipped from 3.80.
Get Ready for Lull
Near-term markets struggle with views on yield curves, currencies, and recessions resulting in erratic range trading.
Get Ready for Launch
Before year’s end, plan for a 2.5% 10 yr yield and 30 yr conventional rates to touch 5.75. But don’t plan for a massive bump in volume.
