Tighter margins mean companies must pursue excellence and become a High-Performance Entity
The typical mortgage bank measurements loans per processor and turn-time in UW, but these tools are too generic and too broad to drive a High-Performance Entity.
To become a High-Performance Entity, there must be standards against which measurement is applied. This will reveal corrective opportunities to make adjustments based on each employee’s specific workflow.
The Profit Doctor prescription to become a High-Performance Entity includes 1) design a position specific workflow, 2) establish standards for each workflow, and 3) measure the results compared to custom designed standards.
This will empower IMBs will know if their results are good enough and what needs to be tuned-up, which is the springboard for exceptional financial performance common among High Performance Entities.
