Domenic Melillo is a husband, father, son and brother who lives in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Villanova University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He also received his MBA in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University.
He has worked in the Mortgage Industry for 40 years, 23 years in the Private Mortgage Insurance business with Verex, GE Mortgage Insurance, Genworth Mortgage Insurance and National Mortgage Insurance, 4 years with IndyMac Correspondent as President of the NE Region, 3 years with NYCB Mortgage as Manager of the NE region Wholesale group, as well as being recently retired from NMI after 7 years where I helped to start the company.
He is also a published author having published 4 historical and science fiction novels. His passion for writing and poetry was inspired by his father Joseph Melillo who read to his children many of his favorite poems from the all time greats. His writings are from real life. He highlights and illustrates the joys and pain in the common everyday moments of life.
